When identifying archetypal characters, think about common patterns and traits that recur in literature and myth. Consider characters such as the Hero, the Mentor, the Villain, the Trickster, and the Damsel in Distress. These archetypes represent universal themes and provide a framework for understanding character motivations and narratives across different cultures and time periods.
When writing a story about an artifact, start by establishing the history and significance of the artifact in your world. Then, introduce characters who are connected to the artifact in some way, whether they are searching for it, protecting it, or trying to exploit its power. Use the artifact as a key plot device that drives the story forward and creates tension and conflict between characters. Remember to develop a strong resolution that ties up the artifact's story arc in a satisfying way.

If someone unworthy were to somehow lift Thor's hammer, it would not grant them the powers of Thor. In the comics, there are instances where characters like Beta Ray Bill or Captain America have been deemed worthy to wield Mjolnir, but this is rare and requires exceptional attributes.

Main characters are the characters in a literary work that have the greatest impact. When identifying a main character think: "would the story be the same without them?" If not, they are most likely a main character
Well, you have to start out by identifying similarities between the stories. Do the major characters have anything in common? ... They do, but you might have to think hard for such a different story. I think one of the things you could use for this comparison is the way both main characters are shaped by their own societies' values. They both are, massively... so that could be a starting point.

You're the writer -- you need to think of your own characters or they will not be interesting to you. Pick characters that you think about when you think about Halloween. If you have trouble, then maybe you're not really interested in writing a story about Halloween after all.
There are many characters, but I think that the MAIN characters are Phillip Malloy and Mrs.Narwin.
