Easter is not really celebrated on a single day in the Christian religion. Palm Sunday is a week before Easter Sunday, this celebrates Jesus arriving in Jerusalem. The following Thursday is called Maundy- this is when Jesus had the last supper of bread and wine with his disciple's. Good Friday was the day when Jesus was put to death on the cross, then finally there is Easter Sunday which (as we all should know) was when Jesus rose from the dead. This is the mainly celebrated day to the Christian religion, we eat chocolate eggs to symbolise new life and/or the large stone covering Jesus' tomb.
