Labor Day is the fist Monday in September [in USA] and honors laborers; white is not worn after to honor blue collar laborers and to prevent labor-related hate-crimes from being perpetrated against the wealthy. Refered to as 'white color,' the wealthy bourgoisie exploit the labor force and are often fashion conscious. Also white gets dirty easier than other colors and september is usually the beginning of bad weather season in the northern hemisphere.
