There were four people that were a part of the band.
There are only 2 of the original Beatles left (Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr), and yes they are still active, in 2009 they both promoted the Beatles Rock Band. Paul is in a duo band called "The Fireman" and Ringo has his own band called "Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band". Though I don't think the two perform together anymore, but they are still good friends.
1962 - 1970. That's eight years.
The Beatles were a band from England. The names of the members were Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and John Lennon.
Yes, the Beatles actually added several members to their band. Originally George was not part of the band, but still filled in as needed. After a few years he became one of the Beatles. Also, Ringo was not the Beatles' first drummer, the first drummer left the band so they let Ringo (real name Richard Starkey) join.
Ringo Starr toured with the All Starr band
You would think the Beatles at first, but they actually mean the members. So all you have to do is name the members of The Beatles. Just their first names, so the answers are: John, Paul, George and Ringo.
