Legendary pictures has its new Americanized Godzilla coming in 2012 according to bloody disgusting Togo also plans a new Godzilla movie for 2012 we get what looks to he two great Godzilla movies in 2012 .about time...
I doubt it.
No, because Godzilla is owned by Toho, not Disney.
No, Godzilla and Gamera never did or never will fight each other due to copy right laws. Godzilla is Toho, and Gamera is Daei. It could only happen if Toho buys Gamera off of Daei. Or the other way around. But during the 60`s and 70`s, Daei repentantly asked Toho for Gamera to fight Godzilla, but have Gamera kill Godzilla, and have the Godzilla series end for GOOD. But Toho wouldnt agree. But, in the year, 1995 Daei asked again, Toho agreed but they scrapped it. But, Godzilla vs. Destroyah and Gamera Guardian of the Universe were made instead of Godzilla vs. Gamera.
If you created the biggest movie monster in the history of man, wouldn't you want to have rights to it? ;)
no
No, Godzilla is not a Marvel character. Godzilla is a fictional monster created by Toho Company, a Japanese film production company, and has appeared in its own series of films and comics.
Gamera, but, it's rumoreed to have him in the new series of godzilla films. It's also rumored that Daiei and Toho are going to restart the projectGodzilla vs. Gamera in 2014
OK Scrap everything that previous person has said underneath this they clearly don't know what there talking about ,legendary pictures have gained rights to produce a more "accurate" version of Godzilla slated for release mid 2011, There is no news about toho yet but in 2014 it will be the 60th anniversary of Godzilla they might release a film such as they did with Godzilla : Final wars in 2004 Godzilla's 50th anniversary. they are not going to release a film called "kiryu" they killed him off in Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S . and it would be stupid if they released a film about MECHA-GODZILLA without Godzilla in the plot . anyway toho has already started to bring back the monster star he just made a cameo in sunset always on third street 2 its a short dreams scene and like cloverfield it focuses more on the people than the monster but we see Godzilla and he was all CG and it was pretty well done and glad to see him make a return so soon =) hope this helpsGodzilla's 50th anniversary was 2004 along with Godzilla: Final Wars; Toho has decided to have a new interest in the future, possibly returning with a new film in 2013 or 2014 as Godzilla's 59th or 60th anniversary. There is one coning to theaters in April 15, 2010. It is a sequel to the American version. On this new and improved Godzilla movie, our very own monster has it's first enemy. He also breaths radio- active fire like Gojira. And Toho just announced that their going to make a new Godzilla film titledKiryu which with Mechagodzilla 3 as the main character. In 2013 - 2014 Gojira/ Godzilla 3-D is going to be released. Directed by the same person who directed the first 22 Godzilla movies. Unfortunately, not much information could be found about this movie. This film was originally supposed to be released in 2007, then 2009. Godzilla vs. Deathra.Warner brothers and Legendary Pictures will make a new godzilla movie. It will be out in 2012.
Toho Studios LTD has not at this time announced any plans toward making an installment in the Godzilla series pitting him against Bagan. Originally Bagan was a combination of three monsters that was supposed to take on Godzilla in "Godzilla 1985" and/or a movie that never saw the light of day "Godzilla Vs. The Devil". Bagan was an invincible monster with three horns who was almost like a changeling. Later, the monster was planned for the movie "Godzilla vs. Mothra" (1992) but Battra replaced Bagan. Bagan was once again upstaged in 1995 being replaced by Destroyer. The only place in which Bagan may be seen is "Super Godzilla" He is the final boss. But who knows, perhaps when Toho revives the series for the fourth (fifth, sixth?) time, Bagan may tear up the silver screen in the future.
No, the Toho Godzilla films were said to he too violent for the American television (remember the American censorship Sid completely different from the Japanese) and no Gamera is owned by Daiei Motion Pictures bot Toho.
Yes, they should godzilla was popular and still is today bring the king of the monsters BACK!!!!
No. Toho doesn't own power rangers so they can't use them.
