the dwarf hamster is normally fully grown at the age of 3 months!!!I know that is a very short period of time, but i have asked a clerk at pet supplies plus & that's what he said so im guessing its a legit answer & plus i have a hamster book that came with my hamsters & it also says that!!!:)so I'm guessing that its is true:)
The range of life for an average dwarf hamster is 1 1/2 years to about 2 1/2 years. It depends on the type of hamster, where its cage is located, the food it is given, and the amount of affection is given. It is different for each hamster. Some have lived to 3 1/2 years.
it will grow but not as big as a regular sized hamster.
You don't get to decide when to wean hamsters, momma hamster weans them.
The average size is around 10cm if its an Australian hampster but if not around about 5cm!
It all depends on the breed of hamster. Usually rats tend to be bigger when fully grown than a fully grown hamster. And if its a dwarf hamster the rat is definitely bigger.
