the dwarf hamster is normally fully grown at the age of 3 months!!!I know that is a very short period of time, but i have asked a clerk at pet supplies plus & that's what he said so im guessing its a legit answer & plus i have a hamster book that came with my hamsters & it also says that!!!:)so I'm guessing that its is true:)
It all depends on the breed of hamster. Usually rats tend to be bigger when fully grown than a fully grown hamster. And if its a dwarf hamster the rat is definitely bigger.
Dwarf hamsters typically weigh between 1-2 ounces (28-56 grams) when fully grown. The specific weight can vary slightly depending on the species and individual genetics, but this is a general range for most dwarf hamsters.
