At about 51000 miles for 1.8 petrol
i have a timing chain on my 52 plate 2.2 diesel vectra
Try changing the spark plugs and have the timing checked.
how many cam sensors are there on a vectra c 1.8 sri 06 plate
very carefully:) well done...you pillock
how long would it take to change a timing chain on a vauxhall zafira 54 plate.
yes there should be..the timing belt change interval on a 1.9 cdti is (unbelieveably) 100,000 miles that's what the dealers state..yours has done less than half that so check it out....
its the light to say the traction control is turned off
Good ones
needs to be done with a diagnostics machine.
55000 miles max
My vectra is a 1999 S plate and has a factory fitted immobilizer, I think that alarm/ immobilisers were fitted as standard the year after mine.
To set the valve timing on a 53-plate Vauxhall Vectra 1.8, first ensure the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder one. Align the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and the timing cover, then position the camshaft so that its timing mark aligns with the corresponding mark on the engine. Secure the camshaft and crankshaft using timing tools or locking pins if available, and then recheck the alignment before reassembling the timing belt and other components. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific torque settings and additional procedures.
