There were no events for Arceus that distributed it directly to Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Arceus was distributed between November 7 and November 15 in 2009 at Toys 'R' Us stores in the U.S. but only Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum would have been able to directly receive it.

The first Arceus event will probaly be when the twelveth Pokemon movie comes onto DVD. Right now arceus can only be obtained in action replay.
