Doctor Who series 5, is due to air in 2010 with Steven Moffat taking over from Russel T Davies OBE as show runner. 2009 will see 4 'specials' instead of a series. Moffat is generally seen as the best writer of new Who, with 'The Empty Child' 'The Doctor Dances' 'The Girl in the Fireplace' 'Blink' 'Silence in the Library' & 'Forest of the Dead' 2010
