The Bahá'à fast is the last month before the Bahá'à New Year (Naw Ruz). In the Bahá'à calendar, months are only 19 days long, and Naw Ruz is currently celebrated on March 21, so the Bahá'à fast is from March 2 to March 20.

Yes fasting is also followed by many other religions as fasting has numerous medical benefits. Some of the religions that fast are Christianity, Budhism, Bahai Faith, Hinduism etc.

A Bahai is a disciple of Baha'u'llah and his son Abdu'l-Baha. Baha'u'llah was a Persian nobleman who founded the Bahai Faith, a new religion teaching world unity.
