John 12:36
The Bible makes no mention of aliens. It does not say anything either way. //////////////////// edited comment //////////////////// The Bible is also rather vague at times and left to much interpretation. Some lines refer to angels that come out of the sky from a bright light and have the appearance of children. This could be interpreted to see that the greys standing a reportedly 4ft tall would seem like children to the witnesses.
See Isaiah 30:26. "The light of the sun will be seven times brighter."
Nowhere that I know of; but Jesus talks of the light from a city on a hill: "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." (Matthew 5.14)

'Guiding light ' does not appear in the Bible. But the Bible refers to the word of God as being a light to our way: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119.105)
