When is the home stretch of school?

It is the eight-week, long stretch of time from when Spring Break ends on Easter Sunday night until Memorial Day Weekend. It is called that because there are no days off during this period of time. (This year it's from April 5th through May 28th.) It includes the SAT and AP exams. It is also a home stretch because after Memorial Day, there are only nine full days of school until summer vacation, which means that once that stretch of time is over, the end is very near. The "home long stretch" is an especially good name for it if you're graduating this year.
