God knows when to be honest, I'm one of those people who likes going to these events to socialise with other fans, but sadly there's nobody who has the time to develop an event nowadays...The best way to actually get a TCG tournament or League up and running is by checking out www.pokemon.com, and seeing what you can do to run it in a library or anywhere social and can get permission from.
If you're under 18, you'd probably have to go ask a shop of some kind, like Forbidden Planet or any place that runs events or sells merchandise like the Pokemon TCG items. There's so many setbacks into actually running one though; such as whether people are actually going to come to the event, otherwise the person running it will have gained no profit out of it.
But if we were to wait for one and hope someone else could manage, it could take an extremely long time. So it would be best for someone to take action. I'll give it a try, but I don't know who's going to be willing to run it.
