At the time of answering this question (19th December, 2013) - the date of the next New Moon is Wednesday 1st January, 2014.
It was, no doubt, a February. About every 30 years, the moon is full on January 2nd, and again on January 31. The next full moon happens to be on March 1! An entire MONTH (well, it was only February, which IS the shortest month) with no full moons!
There will be a total of five in 2014. The first two were in January. The next two will be on Aug. 10 and Sept. 9. The August full moon will be the closest full moon this year, with the distance separating the Earth and moon at only 222,000 miles.
March 18th
The Moon was new on December 22, and will be "waxing", or increasing, until the Full moon. The next Full moon will be Jon January 11, 2009, and will be waning for two weeks after that.
The next full moon, also known as the "Full Moon Cat," is scheduled to appear in the night sky on date.
The next full moon is on date. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that cats behave differently during a full moon.
It was a full moon June 26th 2010, the next full moon is July 26th 2010.
"Full moon" is a bit vague, as the true full moon occurs not at a particular date but at a specific time; by eye, anytime within a day or so of this the moon will look pretty much the same, so I'm counting anytime the moon will appear to be full on such a date. As of this writing (Dec 2014), it looks like the next time will be January 13, 2017. There will be a new moon on July 13, 2018, and another full moon (actually maybe not quite full) on September 13 2019.
