July 22, 2009. It will be a spectacularly visible total solar eclipse visible from just north of Mumbai, India through Nepal and China to Shanghai, and across most of the Pacific Ocean. The next good solar eclipse visible in North America will be on August 21, 2017.
About 7 PM last night. The eclipse was only visible from Asia; it was not visible at all in North America.
Im not entireley sure but it will not be in either of our lifetimes!
