A flashlight is given off light and heat energy once turn on.
Every time light hits a surface, some will be absorbed (and turn into heat) and some will be reflected away until it hits another surface where another part of it is absorbed. Eventually all the light will be used up.
It absorbs energy, the latent heat of vaporisation. This can be stated as so many Joules or calories per kilogram. When the gas condenses heat is given out.
An electric soldering iron has an electric heater warming metal with some thermal capacity - so it takes time to bring it up to temperature, and more time to cool down, after the heater is switched off. But after some time, all electrical energy is dissipated to the air and surroundings.
Radiation heat is heat that comes directly off its source in a straight line. For example heat coming off the sun.
Lower the right lever near the right seat on the transmission hump near the shifter to turn the heat off. Raise it to get heat. Left side is for defrost or foot air. I believe the '69 had a manual lever in the foot heat vent also if you wanted to turn the foot air completely off and still have the air for the defroster.
Turn your thermostat to 40*. That oughta do the trick. I have tried that and it did not go off the onle way to turn it off now is to turn the car off

No.
Turn off the heat to the basement, first and second floors?
By pressing and holding the power switch on the right side for about three seconds. Or, if the player is paused, it will turn off automatically after the preset time that you set in the SETTINGS menu.
Turn off lights when you leave rooms, turn off fans, use heat only when you need it...
