Most Christians have the Sabbath (Capitalize Sabbath if you don't mind) on Sunday.
----------------------------------------------------------
This is a question of considerable debate. Some Protestants believe that keeping the seventh day Sabbath (Saturday) is the only way to exclusively follow The Bible. Others argue that Jesus rose on the 1st day, therefore reestablishing a new Sabbath. The truth is that there is nothing in scripture that implicitly states that the Holy Sabbath was ever changed to the first day (Sunday).
The official Sabbath remains the Saturday as is the custom with Jews, even though many Christians today believe it to have changed to Sunday, because this is the day that Jesus rose from the dead. The Sabbath as a specific day, however, is not important, what is important is the concept of devoting the day solely to God. The Sabbath is a reminder for us to be constantly drawing close to God. Giving him a single day out of our week is somewhat mild when compared to Jesus statement in Luke 9:23,24 -- "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it."
Paul wrote, "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ." (Colossians 2:17)

The Resurrection, which took place on Sunday. Christians honour that as their sabbath.
Yes and no. The Jewish word for Sabbath is "Shabbat." Christians just say Sabbath.
Yes, on Sundays.
No, the Christians did.
Yes. The Christian Sabbath is celebrated by Christians on Sunday. Jews celebrate the Sabbath from Friday sunset until Saturday after twilight.
Jews worship the sabbath from Friday eve to Saturday eve. Christians worship the Sabbath on Sunday. I am not sure about non-Christians, or non-Jews.
Christians have always worshiped on the Sabbath
The question makes invalid assumptions. That the Pope represents all Christians. That the Pope believes the Sabbath presently worshipped is incorrect. That the Pope has the ability to change that Sabbath
Sunday
