Sure, there are only a few days out of each menstrual cycle when the woman can get pregnant, but the problem is how to find them.
Bodies aren't clockwork and may fall out of synch at any time, for any reason. Simply counting the days isn't good enough.
One out of five couple relying on counting days still end up pregnant within one year. It's a Russian Roulette approach to parenthood.
