World Consumer Rights Day is on the 15th March. It was started by President John F Kennedy in 1962 and is now celebrated every year. The day is used to promote global awareness about consumer rights.
In 2010, International Consumer Day will be celebrated on Monday March 15 with the theme 'Our Money, Our Rights' and will highlight consumer issues in relation to financial services.
