Lay out the triangular bandage, opened up, on a flat surface. There is 1 long side, and 2 shorter sides of the bandage (triangle). Where the 2 shorter sides meet, at the point, grab the point and tie a knot at the point end. When you fold the bandage in half, like it would be on a person, where you tied the knot will be the pocket for the elbow.
The knot is tied at the large angle corner of the bandage a few inches forward.
