When mapping a cleaning route for your house which direction should you work?

Since you've so generously offered to clean my house, I'd recommend when mapping a cleaning route that you should work:

1. have all cleaning supplies and rags in one easy to carry large bucket or tote
2. start on one floor rather than running back and forth between floors
3. have baskets or boxes with you--- collect items that belong in other rooms -- don't make repeated trips upstairs or to other rooms
4. clean less messy, less dirty rooms first on the same floor
5. always work from "top down" in rooms or hallways -- this means dust high things before dusting lower areas; wash walls from ceiling to floor
6. always vacuum from "furthest away from the doorway" and work your way back out of the room
7. In bathrooms, do "cleaner" areas first-- the toilet should always be last, before the floor.
8. In kitchens, always wash, dry, and put away clean dishes FIRST so you get to counters, etc.
9. Always wash floors last.
10. Save big jobs for a different day, such as cleaning out the fridge, defrosting the freezer, cleaning the oven... moving or rearranging furniture, cleaning the basement; washing lawn furniture, etc.

Now, just go down the road in front of you, turn at the 2nd right, look for a big billboard that's blank, painted white, go 3.2 miles, turn left, go 0.2 tenths of a mile, turn right, at the Y in the road take the right branch, continue until the road meets a 'T' intersection, go left about 0.3 tenths of a mile then count 8 houses down on the right--- mine is the bluebird color behind the big red house with white shutters. I wouldn't mind if you start in the attic... and end in the basement. Oh, you might want to pack like you're going on a "work vacation", because you'll be cleaning for a week. I'll cook while you clean.
