Depends on employer's pay periods. can be 1 week or 2. 2 minimum monthly req'd many states.
there r 52 weeks.. so biweekly would make 104 pay periods No, you divide 52 by 2 if you are paid biweekly, therefore there are 26 pay periods in a year. There would be 104 pay periods if you were paid twice a week, not paid once every 2 weeks.
I think that the question should be phrased "how many months have 5 paydays (aka pay weeks) in them" instead of how many 5 week months are there? I know that is the question that I was asking. The answer to the first question then is: 4 The months with 5 paydays (aka pay weeks) are: March June August November
26 not 24, there are 52 weeks in a year which is more accurate than 12 months * 2 if you actually work a full year, you'd lose 2 pay periods for no reason...
It is very easy. You just take the biweekly gross amount on the paycheck and multiply it by 26 which is the number of 2 week periods in a year. Then you divide this total by 12 because there are 12 months in a year. The result is your monthly pay. Geez. How much simpler can a question be? Do I win a car?
Biweekly means every two weeks that should be around 24 pay periods.
Answer: 2.17 There are 52 weeks in a 1 year. In one year there is 12 months. In 1 month there is 2.17 bi-weekly pay periods on average. There will be 4 months a year I believe you will receive 3 paychecks within the same month. 52/12= 4.33/ 2 (bi weekly paychecks) = 2.166666

-- If you get paid every 7 days on the same day of the week, then it depends which day of the week is pay day. In 2013 ... Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday . . . . 4 months with 5 paydays Tuesday . . . . . 5 months with 5 paydays Friday . . . . . . . 3 months with 5 paydays Saturday . . . . . 2 months with 5 paydays
Months can vary in length between 28-31 days, which means that they don't always start and end at the same day of the week - so a monthly check will arrive at different days of the week for different months. Weeks OTOH are always the same length, so if you're payed every 4 weeks you should get your check at the same day of the week everytime.
Biweekly.
it is a lease that requires the tenant to pay the rent every other week no matter how many weeks are in that month. The drawback is the tenant, at the end of the year, will pay the equivalent of 13 months rent vs 12.
