Well, if you are talking about the stereotypical "munchies" it depends on the stoner. Personally, smoking marijuana actually does the opposite for me. When I smoked, I didn't want anything to do with food. Also, I craved physical activities or knowledge. If I wasn't working out I was looking up articles on various subjects such as biochemistry, history, philosophy, nutrition and taking notes. Give me some weed and I can study for hours.
However, whenever I smoked with friends they would annoy me about wanting to go to Taco Bell. Or they would insist on cooking a large meal. Granted the food was good but I really didn't have the appetite. When people get the munchies I've noticed that they crave meals loaded with carbohydrates.
Why this occurs is because THC bonds to fat cells. So when people smoke the THC is looking for a lipid to bond to, triggering cravings of carbohydrates and fatty foods.

from my experience weed does the same thing to others around you as it does to you personally... gets you high. if you are smoking weed then when you let out the smoke it will get others high, however a lot less high because your body absorbs most of the THC levels. so it gets others high... WARNING: smoking weed is illegal almost everywhere so go somewhere where it's legal or don't get caught.
