all you have to do is insert the leafgreen game in the ds and the Pokemon heartgold or soulsilver game then go to the ds game then when the screen where you choose to continue your game under it you will see new game and a button the sais migrate from any Pokemon gameboy game. If that doesnt show up somethings wrong

Why does my Pokemon FireRed version Erase itself when I insert a DS game and attept to migrate?
If you are playing your Pokemon: FireRed versionon a Nintendo DS lite and when you insert your Pokemon: Diamond, Pearl or Platinum version (or HeartGold or SoulSilver). And you do not see the "Migrate From FireRed" option on the game's Menu, do one of two things. 1. Do you have the National Dex on Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver? If you answered yes to that, 2. Is you FireRed cartridge a clear red instead of a soiled Red? If so, then your FireRed version is a fake. Don't worry, though. You can still do everything you can on a regular FireRed Version exept go to the Union Room, and Migrate. This Fake will do NO HARM to your GBA or DS. But it would'nt be a good Idea to Try and use A GameShark or Action Replay on it.* If your FireRed Catridge is a solid Red, you might have used to many Cheats on it. as this a peradently damage your game.
Why can't a Snorlax and a Ditto breed a Munchlax?
First off, Munchlax is a 4th Generation Pokemon and is thus not available in Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen. Make sure you are playing Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver. The Snorlax must then be holding a Full Incense in the Day Care in order to produce a Munchlax egg. Full Incense can be found in Veilstone City (in D/P).

In HeartGold, you cannot enter the Hoenn region however you can find Pokémon that are found in the Hoenn region in HeartGold by playing the Hoenn Sound on the March Channel while you're traveling through routes however the Hoenn Sound is only available on Wednesdays.
