Charges are dropped by the prosecutors office and since (presumably) the case never reached trial, no judicial action took place that action is not appealable in court. On the other hand, charges which are dismissed by the court CAN be appealed and there is a "reasonable" time period for remedying the underlying reason. Ask your defense attorney.
