A numbered list should be used where you have tasks or steps which should be completed in order e.g.:
1. pick up box
2. walk to living room with box
3. set down box
They should be used here because you cannot logically complete any steps before the previous, and the numbers indicate that an also so the reader doesn't do step 2 then realize they have to do step 1 first (not applicable to that example as you can't).
Other examples would be food preperation when you have to do things in order.
Also lists in which you would do any number of the things but are sorted for priority e.g.:
1. Eat and sleep
2. Play with son/daughter
3. Watch TV
You could do these out of order but hopefully you realize that Surviving is more important than entertaining your children, which is more important than sitting on your butt.
a numbered list
The outlined number list has a hiearchy.
A numbered list has only one level. An outline list has multiple nested levels to support outlining.

im not sure that is why i asked you
Existing numbered list could easily be converted to a bullet list. This can be done by changing the properties.
a Bulleted list No, that's incorrect, I'm afraid. A bulleted list is used when no sequencing is necessary. A numbered or lettered list is used to indicate a particular sequence of items.
When you are trying to add key information.
An outline numbered list would have sub-sections, like 1.1 and 1.2 or 1(a) and 1(b) and so on. You would see it in very formal documents, like legal documents or reports. A standard numbered list just has whole numbers, so 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on, with no sub-sections.

A bullet list should have at least 2 items under each section. A bulleted list can have many bullets under each item, just as in an outline. Each item in a bulleted list should be indented.A numbered bullet format would appear like this:item oneitem twoAn unordered (not numbered) bulleted list would look like this:item oneitem two
