For kicks I ran your meds through a Drug Interaction Checker at drugs.com/interactions-check. The results, a "major interaction" between Vyvanse and Wellbutrin ( see results below). I would consult your Dr. and Pharmacist. The other possible combinations are listed as "moderate interaction"
Regarding GABA, the bottle of GABA I purchased says to consult your physician if taking any psychotropics. I started taking Vyvanse and kept a journal. After reviewing the journal I noticed a pattern - whenever I took the GABA my mood actually changed for the worst. Of course I didn't consult my psychiatrist prior, but when I did she didn't seem overly concerned by any means, but did say GABA could have a counter productive reaction and my notion was plausible. In place of GABA, melatonin has been working great for me; maybe you want to consult your Dr. Actually, we probably all should check with our health providers and at a minimum, run some type of drug interaction checker. I believe all the major drug chains provide a free one at there websites. Good luck.
"major interaction"
MANAGEMENT: Extreme caution is advised if bupropion is administered with any substance that can reduce the seizure threshold, particularly in the elderly and in patients with a history of seizures or other risk factors for seizures (e.g., head trauma; brain tumor; severe hepatic cirrhosis; metabolic disorders; CNS infections; excessive use of alcohol or sedatives; addiction to opiates, cocaine, or stimulants; Diabetes treated with oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin). Bupropion as well as concomitant medications should be initiated at the lower end of the dose range and titrated gradually if feasible. The total dose of bupropion should generally not exceed 450 mg/day (or 150 mg every other day in patients with severe hepatic cirrhosis). Bupropion should be discontinued and not restarted in patients who experience a seizure during treatment.
there is a caution advised as comd between vyvanse and wellbutrin incr. risk of seizures
vyvanse in the morning and seroquel at night
Yes ... if prescribed by a physician who is using Wellbutrin to treat depression, ADHD or smoking cessation attempts, in a patient who is also being treated for erectile dysfunction. However, it is more common to take these medications at different times of day, rather than together.
Yes, Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) and biotin can generally be used together without significant interactions. Vyvanse is a medication primarily used to treat ADHD, while biotin is a B-vitamin that supports metabolic functions and promotes healthy hair, skin, and nails. However, it's always advisable to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplements or medications to ensure safety and appropriateness for your individual health needs.
Can Cause Serotonin disease. I am on zoloft and take vyvanse every once in a while. The two together increase the symptons felt when taking a vyvanse. Its pretty sweet
Can you take citalopram 20mg and vyvanse 40mg together
No, it is not recommended. Wellbutrin (bupropion) and Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) are dangerous if taken together because this combination has been known to cause seizures (which can be fatal if not controlled).
You would have to be very careful about the Abilify dosage. Abilify is metabolized by an enzyme, CYP 2D6, both Wellbutrin and Prozac inhibits that enzyme. This will result in increased levels of Abilify.
You can take them together, but both medications can have an additive effect on each other; meaning that you could get really drowsy when you take both of them.
It is generally considered safe to take Vyvanse (a stimulant medication for ADHD), Strattera (an non-stimulant medication for ADHD), and L-theanine (an amino acid that promotes relaxation) together. However, combining these medications should always be done under the guidance of a healthcare provider, as individual responses can vary and potential interactions should be evaluated. It's essential to discuss any supplements or medications with your doctor to ensure safety and effectiveness.
That depends on what the prescribing physician and/or primary care provider decides. That being said, Xanax (alprazolam) and Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) have no known drug to drug interactions and can be taken safely together.
No; Vyvanse contains lisdexamfetamine.
