Since photosynthesis requires the carbon from CO2 and its not getting it, the entire process could come to a halt. This would usually occur in hot and dry conditions, where in higher temperatures, the enzyme has a higher affinity for binding to O2 than CO2.

Does the amount of light affect the chlorphyll concentration in a plant?

no. This is because light only affect the rate of photosynthesis and not the chlorophyll concentration in the leaf

What are the factors photosynthesis?

The intensity of light, concentration of carbon dioxide and temperature are the three main factors that affect photosynthesis. They determine the rate at which photosynthesis occurs.

What affects the rate of photosynthesis?

The main variables which affect photosynthesis are light, CO2 concentration and temperature. You should be able to explain how each of these has their effect on the rate of photosynthesis. Although water is needed as a raw material for photosynthesis, if water is short, it will cause the plant to wilt (and thereby lose its ability to capture sunlight) long before it limits photosynthesis at the biochemical level. On a deeper level, other factors like amount of chlorophyll, availability of nutrients (eg Mg is needed for chlorophyll synthesis) will also affect the rate of photosynthesis, though these are rarely covered in discussion of this topic. Which light has the least affect on photosynthesis?

Green light has the least affect on photosynthesis.

What are some of the factors that affect the rate of photosynthesis?

Temperature, concentration of CO2, and light intensity

How would a fluid with a high solute concentration affect osmotic pressure when compared to water?

Fluid with a high solute concentration would be hyper-osmotic compared to water, and thus would be expected to exert osmotic pressure if separated from pure water with a semipermeable membrane.

What the three environmental factors that affect photosynthesis?

Water, Light and Temperature are the main one. CO2 availability will also affect it.

What are some factors that affect photosynthesis?

The factor that will effect photosynthesis the most is light. Plants need light in order for photosynthesis to take place. Water, air, pH, and temperature will also effect photosynthesis.
