The blue field in the Philippine flag stands for peace, truth and justice.
When hanging the Philippine flag against a wall, it should be displayed with the blue field at the top and the red field at the bottom, ensuring that the white triangle is pointing to the left side. The sun and stars should be positioned correctly, with the sun at the top of the triangle. If the flag is displayed horizontally, it should still maintain this orientation. Additionally, if the flag is illuminated, the blue field should always be positioned at the top.

The Bison On a Blue Field
The Blue field
The US flag should always be displayed with the blue field in the upper left-hand corner to the viewer.
Wyoming's flag has an American Bison in the center (as the state's nickname is the "Buffalo State"). The white bison is charged in a field of blue; the boarder of the flag is white and red.
the blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and justice
The American flag should be displayed on the flagpole to the right of any other flags when positioned side by side. When flown alone, it should be at the top of the flagpole. Additionally, when the flag is displayed vertically against a wall, the union (the blue field with stars) should be at the top and to the flag's right.
When it is hung horizontally like from a flagpole, the blue field is in the upper left. When it is hung vertically the blue field is also in the upper left. It is a common mistake to take the flag from its horizontal position and just rotate so the blue field is on the right.
