Gasoline isn't changed into energy, because it is matter, and matter only changes form (it turns into carbon monoxide among other things). However, if what you are asking is, what kind of energy is produced when gasoline is burned in an engine, then you get kinetic energy (the heat builds pressure which causes kinetic energy when the rods are forced to move)

The chemical energy stored in the hydrocarbons of gasoline is converted into thermal (heat) energy in combustion. This heat energy causes gases to expand, and thus has been converted into mechanical energy. The mechanical energy of the expanding gas forces pistons to turn a crankshaft in the engine, and the mechanical energy is coupled out to the wheels to drive the vehicle.

Potential energy is frequently converted to kinetic energy. Kinetic energy?

can be converted to potential energy.

Car drives down a street what energy conversions are happening?

The potential energy of the gasoline is converted to heat and kinetic energy.

Which describes the energy conversions used to make a car down the street?

Assuming it just rolls down a slope, without the engines working: gravitational potential energy will be converted to kinetic energy. The kinetic energy will eventually be converted to heat energy.

What type of energy is gasoline?

Gasoline is potential energy.

How do conversions make a car go down a street?

Potential energy is stored in the gasoline, the energy is then converted to heat, then to the kinetic energy of the car.

Is a gasoline in a storage tank kinetic or potential energy?

KINETIC 🤫

What happens to potential energy that is not converted to kinetic energy?

If potential energy is not converted into kinetic energy (or into any other type of energy) then it remains potential. Potential energy does not expire.
