Anne Frank got her diary on June 12th, 1942, her 13th birthday. She brought it with her when they went into hiding and when it was filled, she used notebooks. She's truly a remarkable young woman.

Anne Frank started writing her diary, which later became known as "The Diary of a Young Girl," on her 13th birthday in June 1942. She continued writing in her diary until August 1944 when she and her family were discovered and arrested by the Nazis.
