It depends on your definition. If you like anthropomorphics, have a fursuit, have a fursona, and go to Anthrocon, but don't call yourself furry, you can't be called one. If all you do is bark like a dog, but you want to be considered a furry you can be.
What is Furclan?
I believe it's a sort of fandom word. "The Furries" are people who dress up as different animals and go to conventions each year (sort of like star wars conventions). I know of the furry convention Anthrocon. These "furry" fanatics get together and create "furclans" i guess.

What is a gay furry?
Furries are fans of the anthromorphic art. They enjoy dressing up in fur-suits. A gay furry wouldjust be a gay person who is a fur-suitor. Not all fur-suitors are gay. According to Anthrocon only about 30% of the Fur-suitors are openly gay. Furry is a style of porn characterised by human features but the actual characters are animals, often foxes, dogs, etc... Therefore a gay furry would just be like a straight furry but with 2 guys or more or 2 girls or more.
