Clockstoppers is about a teenage boy named Zak, and his friend Francesca who discover a mysterious watch created by his scientist/professor father and one of his dad's ex-students. They both discover that the watch develops a thing called "hypertime", which allows the users molecules to speed up to the point where the rest of the world seems as though it were standing still. Meanwhile though, the head of a company known as "Quantum Tech" is secretly out to get the watch, so that he can use it to take out the leader of the NSA, and take over the world, and when the former student of Zak's dad discovers their plot and that Zak's dad had been kidnapped by QT while attending a weekend trip to a science , he teams up with Zak and Francesca, so the three can stop Quantum Tech and save Zak's dad, before it's too late.
