I think its a very good brand for CHEAP guitars. I have a cort bass, and gives a nice sound. Cort makes cheap guitars that give a reasonable sound, but will also endure alot, as in they don't fall apart easily. Unlike other guitar brands such as harley benton...
Cort Guitars can be bought at online retailers such as Musicians Friend, Guitar Center, The Music Zoo and the Music 123 store. Models are also available for purchase on eBay, too.
Most experienced people would say Cort. Though, asking that question would be like trying to find a difference between a schooner and a pirate's ship because, about 50% of guitars are manufactured in Cort's factories. The difference is that Cort guitars are made with 100% hand selected quality tone wood, and Fenders are made with cheaper, lower quality wood. Essentially, Fender could care less if there guitars were badly made. To make up for their sloppy work, Fender pays artists to use their guitars under contract. Unfortunately, this has caused many people to be "brainwashed" into thinking that Fender is a higher quality. This happens commonly to inexperienced people like, bloggers, amateurs, children and, teens. If you are looking into buying a guitar, don't get a Fender and go with a smarter choice like, Cort.
Kansas guitars has been around since 1927. They made some very nice guitars. Some expensive and some inexpensive. But the real question is whom makes the guitar for Kansas? And that is non other then Cort. Yes Cort makes guitars for just about everybody and you dont even know. the big secret is cort guitars themselves are very well made but cheaper then most brands, but same or better quality then highline guitars. Cort bailed out fender and also built Fenders for many years. So in short Kansas is a well made guitar and there set neck models are awesome and run about $400 to $600. You cant get a set neck today for under $800. And if you want to see how many guitar brands have cort making there guitars do some research on Cort and you will be surprized. They have been around for ever and are the elite company in the business.
I highly recommend them since they are affordable and sound pretty decent

No Guitars was created in 1996-11.
*gives thumbs up* personal opinion... they are really great... last a long time.... and have good tone... the pick-ups usually need to be replaces after a while cause they start to get crackly but apart from that.... a top bass.
