Stepmania has nothing to do with the devil. It is a game released in 2001 by StepManiaTeam. Down to the devil Edguy? sounds like some nonsensical saying.
No they aren't anti-christ... what a dumb question......
The members of the German metal band Edguy are Tobias Sammet (vocals), Jens Ludwig (guitar), Tobias Exxel (bass), Dirk Sauer (guitars) and Felix Bohnke (drums). First formed in 1992, the band have relased 9 albums and have supported major bands like Iron Maiden and The Scorpions.
Technically, no. Edguy does not worship satan. However, there are some occult referneces in edguy's lyrics, as in Golden Dawn for instance. There is also a sence of hedonism surrounding some of their work. The song Theather of Salvation, for exemple, tells the tale of rebellious character who wishes to live the pleasures of life and to know what is beyond hell. There are also some gnostic references here and there. In itself, none of these passages are actually satanic. It could be the case that the band writes in a metaphorical way, which would mean the lyrics are not meant to be taken literally. We might also note that the band may not actually believe or propone such ideas in real life, using these themes merely as a way to create novel and unusual lyrics. Wether these ideas have the power to influentiate listeners or not is debatable, but the fact that moral relativity, hedonism and gnosticism lead to depravity, disease, violence and overall decay of society can not be denied. These are not, however, the sole aspect of Edguy´s songs, which are generally positive and uplifting. If anything, Edguy is FAR less satanic than most rock bands.
