Nampeyo is a family name whose fame traces to "Old Lady" Nampeyo. She is responsible for reviving Hopi pottery in the late 1800's and into the 1900's and utilized design elements from ancient Pueblo ruins. She initially collaborated with her daughters, notably Annie.
