Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada). Krsna is independent and acts independently. However, he may play a role that appears to be subservient to another. The distance between Dwaraka and Mathura is 1310.8 kilometer by way of national highway number 27. But there was no high way at the time of Krishna. Jarasandha attacked Mathura repeatedly. Jarasandha was defeated. But then Krishna decided to move to Gujarat along with his whole clan. It must have taken long period. It must have been very difficult to move along the jungle. But once you take the decision, you fallow it. There are some people, who likes to fight. No matter what may go. There is no solution to such mentality. There is no option but to go for the war.
