No, the J doesn't stop anywhere near there. Instead, you can take the J to Chambers Street in Manhattan. This station is connected to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station on the 4-5-6 (the dark green line), so you can transfer between the J-Z and 4-5-6 without exiting the subway system.Take the Downtown 4 or 5 from Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall to Borough Hall. The Borough Hall station on the 4 and 5 is at the south end of Columbus Park, on Joralemon Street, between Court Street and Adams Street/Boerum Place (Adams Street becomes Boerum Place at Joralemon Street).Walk half a block east on Joralemon Street (in the opposite direction of traffic) to Adams Street/Boerum Place. Turn right, and walk half a block south on Boerum Place to #14, between Joralemon and Livingston Streets.
It depends on where you're coming from. You can take the 2 or 3 (of the 1-2-3, the red line) or the 4 or 5 (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line) to Borough Hall (at Joralemon Street), then walk half a block east on Joralemon Street to Boerum Place and half a block south to 14 Boerum Place.Or you can take the A or C (of the A-C-E, the blue line) or the F (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line) or the N or R (of the N-R-Q-W, the yellow line) to Jay Street-Metrotech (also on Joralemon Street). Then walk 2 blocks west on Joralemon Street to Boerum Place, and half a block south to 14 Boerum Place.Note that the N only stops at Jay Street-Metrotech from 11 PM to 5:30 AM, when the R isn't running.
