MetroCentre - shopping centre - was created in 1986.
The Metrocentre Mall, later called Metro Centre Place, was opened in San Bernardino, California in October 1969. It was the largest shopping center in California at that time. When Norton AFB closed, the city sunk and has since filed for bankruptcy. This has affected all the businesses, especially the malls. The Metro Centre has closed.
