(This was also the action for which he was jailed, and this inprisonment allowed his assasination) The Nauvoo Expositor printed only one issue. Joseph Smith, as mayor, had their printing press destroyed as punishment for disturbing the peace, and they never printed anything again. They didn't really have a reason to print anything else, as after that Joseph was dead and the Mormons moved out of the state.
