Rather sinister. Red scythes, black hearts, green plutonium, and yellow pustules. It went over better then New Coke would later, but still didn't command enough of the market share to stick with.

LUCKY CHARMS
The four original marshmallows were Pink Hearts, Orange Six-Pointed Stars, Yellow Moons, and Green Clovers. The pink hearts are the only marshmallow that you can still find in the cereal today; the Orange Six-Pointed Stars have evolved into Orange-And-White Shooting Stars; the Yellow Moons have evolved into Blue Moons; and the Green Clovers have evolved into Light-Green-and-Dark-Green Leprechaun Clover Hats. Plus, lots of new marshmallows have been added to the cereal!
Always after me Lucky Charms the frosted oat cereal with marshmallow surprises, pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, green clovers and blue diamonds.

The dark pink hearts are the "marriage hearts" that become available after you get married to someone. They represent 2 hearts total, so that 3 dark pink hearts and 7 light pink hearts total to 13 hearts. Once your spouse is at 14 hearts (15 for the Wizard or Witch and 16 for the Harvest King or Goddess), and you have a level 3 house, your spouse will talk to you about having a baby. Once your spouse is at 20 hearts, you will receive a Power Berry.
