There's no such word in Japanese but there are some close words: shōnen = boy, lad shōnin = merchant, witness
He boarded the Shonan Maru 2 late one night while everyone was either asleep or resting. He had been riding on a jetski with some of his mates. They rode directly up to the vessel. They got close enough for Pete Bathune to board the Shonan Maru 2 then drove away back to their own vessel. He wanted to serve the catain of the Shonan Maru 2 with a letter noting for his (citizen) arrest. Pete Bathune felt that he had every right to board the vessel & confront the captain because he states that the captain & his crew are the ones responsible for recking his 2.5million vessel, The Adi Gil. He also claims that upon the recking of his vessel, The Adi Gil that the captain & his crew also made an attempt to kill 6 crew members as a result of purposely destroying The Adi Gil.
GTO runs for 25 volumes. It also has 2 prequels (Bad Company and Shounan Junaigumi!) and the newest one GTO: Shonan 14 days is the newest manga which takes place after the Teshigawara arc.
The Ady Gil (formerly the vessel 'Earthrace' that broke the global circumnavigation speed record in June 2008) was sunk after she was rammed by the Japanese whaling ship, Shonan Maru 2 in January 2010, whilst taking part in the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's 'Operation Waltzing Matilda' in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. Ady Gil's skipper, Pete Bethune, later boarded the Shonan Maru in an attempt to serve a citizen's arrest warrant on the captain. He also gave the captain an invoice for the replacement money - 3.5 million dollars, which he never got. He was held on board, and returned to Japan to face trial for a variety of spurious charges. He has been sentenced to a 2 year sentence suspended for 5 years on July 7th, 2010. He was charged with trespassing, property damage, assault, illegal possession of a knife, and interfering with business. He will be serving this in 2015.
