What is a phsi vampire?

Psi vampires are different from sanguinarian vampires. Sanguinarian vampires are the type that one generally thinks of when thinking of vampires. These types of vampires need to feed off blood whereas psi vampires require life force energy, otherwise known as pranic, to keep their health in good condition. Although they will probably not die without this energy, without it they will become lethargic and may become quite sick. Psi vampires generally feed off the energy of other people but they can also use elements found in nature, such as storms, to feed off and they sometimes also feed off power sources. Just like other people, psi vampires do not need to feed all the time. They will feed when their energy needs to be replenished and will not feed when it doesn't. Psi vampires will feed off of groups of people when they are in a crowd or they will feed off one individual at a time. While some psi vampires believe in honoring the donor, or person they feed off, by asking permission to feed, not all psi vampires have this belief and will feed without first asking to do so. The donor may feel something when they are being fed off of by a psi vampire but that is not always the case. The degree of feeling will vary from donor to donor, depending mainly on if the donor has awakened. This doesn't refer to awakening as a vampire but rather any person that is extremely aware and sensitive to things that are happening to and around them. If a donor does feel anything, it's generally a feeling of tiredness as the energy is being sucked out of them. Some psi vampires practice "cycling," which is quite a nice experience for the donor. When a psi vampire chooses to cycle, they take the energy but return some of it to the donor so that the donor does not feel completely drained. Some argue that there really is nothing to differentiate a sanguinarian vampire and a psi vampire except that sanguinarian vampires choose to feed off blood rather than a person's emotions. While sanguinarian vampires claim that this in untrue, some believe that sanguinarians just enjoy the taste of the blood and so they have blocked out the ability to feed off of other's emotions. Either way, the practice of psi vampirism or sanguinarian vampirism are both considered to be acceptable in the vampire community.

Dictionary name for people who drink blood?

In fictional terms, an undead human being who drinks blood would be called a "Vampire." In the real world, drinking blood is known as Renfield's syndrome (aptly named for the character in Bram Stoker's Dracula). However, most doctors do not acknowledge Renfield's syndrome as a legitimate medical condition.

Can Any Vampire Out There Turn you Into One?

Unfortunetly, Real life vampires are nothing like the sterio typical ones you find in fictional books and movies. There are two types of vampire. 1. Sanguinarian - This vampire feeds off blood. It gets the blood at medical resources from consenting donors. The blood is tested for HIV and blood disease. 2. Psychic - A psychic vampire feeds off energy. There is a thrid type named a 'Hybrid.' This vampire is a conbination between a sanguinarian and a psychic. You cannot be 'turned' into a vampire. You are born a vampire. There are certain things you can study and learn about the lifestyle and culture of a vampire. You can talk to other vampires or study 'The Awakening.' This is when you realize you are a vampire. Other vampires may be able to help you 'awaken.'

Do vampires drink blood for proteins?

Vampires, for some reason or another, cannot create enough energy for themselves. So they get it from other sources. Sanguinarian--blood drinker--vampires, get their energy from blood. Not nescessarily protein; this is mostly foudn in meat but can be in other things. Blood is a slightly alkaline substance and, correct me if I'm ewrong, contains no protein. they drink it for ENERGY, like Psi vmapires may bdrain prana for ENERGY
