The greatest Chinese poetry was made during the Tang dynasty, the most prominent poets, Wang Wei, Li Bo and Du Fu. However, there were different kinds of verse produced in other periods of great importance as the Tzu poems (written in lines of irregular length as song lyrics), and the Fu poems (a group of parallel couplets of varying lengths. This was the most difficult to achieve due to their complexity.
