if you build an arch bridge it can hold more weight then anyother type of toothpick bridge and can hold about 20lbs (if made well) another good type of bridge is the truss bridge it is just as strong as the arch bridge but it has diffrent structures.

To make a strong bridge foundation, toothpick or steel, you should use a triangle based design.
Glue toothpicks side by side Turn it over when its dry and use the bird nest design. You scatter the toothpicks on the deck and add glue on top Wait for it to dry and now you have a strong toothpick bridge.
Well first you need to find a bridge desin that suits your needs with material and how much weight you want to hold (I suggest the truss bridge desing mostly made of triangles). Next you put it together peice by peice, make the sides and the roof and the top seperatly then put the all together using the material you have witch is most likely going to be glue. there you have it a toothpick bridge.
