They haven't said they are going to tour with any band in the Fall 2010 part of the Until the Whole World Hears tour...(If they announce anything about this, I will update this answer.)
The title track comes from my mentor in student ministry, Roger Glidewell. He always closed his e-mails with the phrase "until the whole world hears." Our goal is to live our lives telling others about Jesus - until the whole world hears. John the Baptist was the voice crying out in the wilderness, eating grasshoppers, and speaking into the world about their sin. Speaking out in the wilderness is never popular, but in the body of Christ. we've got to do it in love. ["Until the Whole World Hears" also includes the voices of the congregation from Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church, where Hall has served as Student Pastor for eight years.] MARK HALL, BERNIE HERMS, JASON MCARTHUR, ROGER GLIDEWELL Matthew 5:16 / Matthew 28:19-20 / Mark 16:15 / John 9:5 / Hebrews 13:20-22 / James 2:19 / John 1:1-42 / Matthew 24:14 Lord, I want to feel with Your heart See the world through Your eyes I want to be Your hands and feet I want to live a life that leads Ready yourselves, ready yourselves Let us shine the light of Jesus in the darkest night Ready yourselves, ready yourselves May the powers of darkness tremble as our praises rise Until the whole world hears, Lord, we are calling out Lifting up Your name for all to hear the sound Like voices in the wilderness we're crying out And as the day draws near, we'll sing until the whole world hears Lord, let Your sleeping giant rise Catch the demons by surprise Holy nations sanctify Let this be our battle cry Ready yourselves, ready yourselves Let us shine the light of Jesus in the darkest night Ready yourselves, ready yourselves May the powers of darkness tremble as our praises rise Woah, woah, sing until the whole world hears Woah, woah, sing until the whole world hears I want to be Your hands and feet I want to live a life that leads To see You set the captive free Until the whole world hears And I pray the day will see More of You and less of me Lord, I want my life to be The song You sing Woah, woah, we'll sing until the whole world hears Woah, woah, we'll sing until the whole world hears © 2009 My Refuge Music/Club Zoo Music (adm. by EMI CMG Publishing)
Mark says that at concerts a crowd favorite is Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me).It's mostly your own opinion, though I'd say Glorious Dayand either Blessed Redeemer or Mercy or To Know You.A lot of people like Glorious Day, Mercy, Blessed Redeemer, Jesus Hold Me Now, Always Enough and At Your Feet. All the songs are phenomenal tho!!(Then mostly every Casting Crowns fan loves Until The Whole World Hears and If We've Ever Needed You which are the two songs off Until The Whole Whole World Hears CD.)
Yes, it actally was on iTunes the night before it came out in stores, and it obviously is still on iTunes!
Their Until The Whole World Hears Fall Tour was with Matt Redman. The Spring Tour is half with Kutless and Caleb, and half with Tenth Avenue North and Caleb.
They are an awesome Christian band with an awesome Christian message. There music is so inspiring and has great messages! One thing that really draws me is the honesty and the passion of the lyrics. It challenges me to step-up to the plate and to grow deeper in my relationship/ friendship with Jesus Christ so I can see the world the way Jesus sees the world! When you hear one of their songs, it make you stop and think. Here's a quote from Steven Curtis Chapman about Mark's lyrics and Mark himself: "One of the unique aspects of Mark's songs that has endeared so many people to the music of Casting Crowns is his ability to make you feel like you're listening to the heart of a good friend. He can ask you tough questions and you're not offended because you know he's wrestling with the same questions. He can challenge you because you sense that he's simply inviting you into the place where he has been challenged. He can offer you encouragement, and you know it's coming from a place of hurt and hope that has been lived anmd not just imagined for the purpose of writing a song. You never feel like you're getting "preached at," and yet his songs contain some of the most profound sermons." Steven Curtis Chapman (Lifestories By Mark Hall, Foreward page X). Here I Go Again (Casting Crowns) While You Were Sleeping (Lifesong) Does Anybody Hear Her (Lifesong) Praise You In This Storm (Lifesong) Stained Glass Masquerade (Lifesong) I Know You're There (The Altar And The Door) Every Man (The Altar And The Door) East To West (The Altar And The Door) What This World Needs (The Altar And The Door) Prayer For A Friend (The Altar And The Door) Glorious Day (Until The Whole World Hears) Until The Whole World Hears (Until The Whole World Hears) To Know You (Until The Whole World Hears) Always Enough (Until The Whole World Hears) Mercy (Until The Whole World Hears) Jesus, Hold Me Now (Until The Whole World Hears) etc...All their songs are powerful, these are just a few that stand out.
