"Atholl Sussex Moira Cumberland Scarborugh" As of 1994 the houses were; Zetland Moira Connaught Atholl-Sussex Cumberland The junior house was Ruispini, the Lower Sixth house was Cadogan and the Upper Sixth house Alexandr. Not sure where Scarborough came from unless it was after my time. Sam Wye RMS 1991-1994
There is no such thing as a WYE pipe there is a WYE FITTING that allows a connection at a 45 DEG angle for either better venting or drainageThe above answer is not totally correct. For a long time now when someone uses the wrong terminology it just gets my goat. In actuallity a WYE fitting looks just like a printed capital "Y".What the thing is that the person has stated above is called a lateral. Two entirely different things.
It would normally be a "Delta" "Wye" transformer. Delta on the high-voltage side, and Wye on the low-voltage side. The Wye windings will give you the neutral needed for 110 v. circuits
The letter 'y' or the River Wye
