Xserve was created in 2002.
The Xserve support page provide the customers to get support for things like system sleeps, how to connect using server monitor, identification and compatibility and etc.
On November 5th 2010 it was announced that Apple would cancel the Xserve service January 31 2011. It was not a carefully thought out enterprise plan and did not have enough effort put into the design.
An Xserve RAID is a mass storage device offered by Apple Inc. It had a capacity of about 10.5 terabytes, which was filled and split into many 750 gb modules.
Apple offers a large number of products in a variety of categories. They manufacture cellphones (the iPhone), portable media players (the iPod), personal desktops and laptops (Macbook, iMac, Mac Pro), and servers (XServe). They also have an online music store, iTunes.
As the G5 models cannot be updated to Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) they will only have a limited appeal. You could expect to get between $500 and $600 for the described model.

The fourth result should feature a list of technical specifications.
In '05, Apple CEO announced that Apple would be transitioning from its long favored PowerPC architecture to the Intel architecture, because the future PowerPC road map was unable to satisfy Apple's needs. Apple had its entire line of consumer Macs running on Intel processors by early August 2006. The Apple Xserve server was updated to Intel Xeon processors from November 2006, and is offered in a configuration similar to Apple's Mac Pro. They're partners with both.
