Well depression has been around for ever. No one really knows when it started because it is that old. Mania is much newer. and obviously they discovered that some people have symptoms of both they joined together to make BiPolar previously known as manic depression. But only recently has mental illness started to be researched more deeply. But BiPolar was never really discovered it's just always been there. I understand what you want to find out, But it wasn't like one day a scientist/doctor discovered it named it diagnosed it and warned the world about it. This was a much slower process. BiPolar/manic depression itself has always exhisted. It's just our understanding of it has evolved like the name has evolved.
Yes. Most people regarded him as a great president. But how many great presidents go out killing vampires at night?
I'd recommend going to therapy, because your husband might just have anger problems, or he might have a condition like bipolarism. If this is the problem then medication can be prescribed.
yes, Bipolar disorder is hereditary. You are born with it and will have it for your whole life. There is no cure, but there are ways to make it more tolerable. You can also develop this illness from brain injury or drug use, however.
There is no one thing that attributes family violence. There is nothing more complex in the world than the family. there are many things that assist it: divorce, poor communication, bipolarism, pride, selfishness, criminal behavior, etc. be respectfull and attempt to understand the other person and you should be all set ;-)
